Ceramiche Keope is committed to making its website accessible, in accordance with Law No. 4 of January 9, 2004. This accessibility statement applies to the website https://www.keope.com/
State of compliance
This website is partially compliant with the requirements of Appendix A of the UNI CEI EN 301549 standard due to the cases of non-compliance listed below.
Inaccessible content
The content listed below is not accessible for the following reasons of non-compliance with Law No. 4 of January 9, 2004:
- 1.1.1 Non-text content (Level A) - Some functional images and icons do not have an adequate text alternative or are missing alt attributes (examples: "Search/Reserved Area" icons, "+" buttons in collections, color samples, technical logos).
- 1.2.1 Audio-only and video-only (pre-recorded) (Level A) - A video on the homepage does not have alternative media (text or audio) describing the video's content.
- 1.3.1 Information and relationships (Level A) - Some information structures are not semantically linked. In particular: contact forms lack fieldset/legend groupings for radio choices (e.g., privacy), technical icons are not linked to legends, and formatted lists do not use figure/figcaption tags correctly (examples: "Collections," "Request info," "Product Sheet").
- 1.3.5 Identify the purpose of inputs (Level AA) - In forms where the user enters personal data, the autocomplete attribute has not been implemented, hindering automatic completion (examples: "Subscribe to the newsletter," "Request information," "Find a retailer").
- 1.4.3 Minimum contrast (Level AA) - In some sections, the contrast between text and background is less than 4.5:1. Specifically: Collection search filter labels, "Learn more" buttons (examples: "Home," "Collections," "Projects," "Magazine").
- 1.4.11 Contrast in non-text content (Level AA) - The borders of elements in focus (input fields, buttons, radio buttons) do not always have sufficient contrast (3:1) with the background, making it difficult to identify the selection (examples: "Newsletter" and "Find a retailer" modals, Collections search filters).
- 1.4.13 Hover or Focus Content (Level AA) - Some parts of the navigation menu can only be activated by hovering the mouse over them and are not available when navigating with the keyboard or other pointing devices.
- 2.1.1 Keyboard (Level A) - Some interactive features are not accessible via keyboard. It is not possible to close modal windows with the ESC key, activate second-level menus, access search, or select certain options in forms (examples: navigation menu, "Try in your environment" modal).
- 2.2.2 Pause, stop, hide (Level A) - The home page features a video that starts automatically without controls to pause or stop it, creating problems for users with attention disorders or neurodiversities.
- 2.4.1 Block skipping (Level A) - There is no "Skip to main content" link and no mechanisms to bypass repetitive or complex blocks such as image galleries, interactive maps, or iframes (examples: "Home," "Request info," "Collections").
- 1.3.2 Meaningful Sequence (Level A) and 2.4.3 Focus Order (Level A) - The tab order is not always logical. In some cases, the focus is not "trapped" within open modal windows or is not restored correctly when closed (examples: "Certifications" modal, "Try it in your environment" simulator, internal anchors on the page).
- 2.4.4 Link Purpose (in Context) (Level A) - Some buttons and links have generic labels that do not clarify their destination when read out of context by screen readers (examples: "Learn more" buttons, "+" buttons, "Form here" links in the FAQs).
- 2.4.6 Headings and labels (Level AA) - Forms do not always have descriptive labels programmatically associated with inputs (example: "Request info").
- 2.4.7 Visible focus (Level AA) - On some interactive elements, the selection border (focus) is not displayed at all during keyboard navigation, preventing the user from understanding where they are (examples: privacy selectors, image carousels in "Collections").
- 2.4.11 Focus not hidden (minimum) (Level AA) - When navigating with alternative pointing systems (such as the keyboard), some selected elements are not displayed on the screen (example: image carousels in "Collections").
- 3.1.2 Language parts (Level AA) - On some pages, button names and aria labels are in English (example: buttons for scrolling through galleries have the text values "previous" and "next").
- 3.3.1 Error identification (Level A) - When errors occur in sending a form, the system does not notify the user of the presence of errors (examples: "Newsletter" modal, "Find a retailer" modal).
- 3.3.3 Error suggestions (Level AA) - When errors are detected in a form, no suggestions are provided on how to correct them (example: "Request info" form).
- 4.1.3 Status messages (Level AA) - When the contents of the page change asynchronously (e.g., applying filters), the system does not notify or h te the user of the change (example: "Projects" filters, "Colors, Effects, Formats" filters).
- 4.1.2 Name, Role, Value (Level A) - Some complex components are not described correctly in the code. Iframes, interactive maps, and graphic buttons lack descriptive attributes (examples: "Try it in your environment" simulator, Google Maps, modal close buttons).
- Non-web documents: several PDF documents on the website do not fully meet the accessibility requirements of the PDF/UA standard (ISO 14289).
Accessible alternatives are not currently available, as we are committed to implementing specific actions to resolve the issues identified.
