WELL

Once again, the focus of Ceramiche Keope on the well-being of people and the environment is demonstrated by the WELL Building Standard V2 certification.

Launched in 2014 by the International WELL Building Institute (IWBI), WELL Building Standard is the first certification system that certifies, through a rating, the health of a building through a holistic approach that considers comfort, safety and psycho-wellnessphysical occupant; WELLV2 is the most updated and rigorous version.

The protocol is divided into 10 categories called ""Concept"" (Air, Water, Nutrition, Light, Movement, Thermal Comfort, Sound, Materials, Mind, Community) and defined by performance indicators (with specific thresholds, objective and measurable) and prescriptive, requiring specific technologies, design strategies or policies to be implemented.

Keope, together with the other brands of the Concorde Group, has achieved this new and important certification that allows architects and professionals to take advantage of new qualifying markers for an increasingly conscious design.

The WELL certification awarded to Keope products, in fact, confirms compliance with some important parameters such as:

  • The null assignment of VOC (also in view of the requirements of the California Department of Public Health);
  • Non-proliferation of microbes and moulds;
  • Compliance for use in underfloor heating;
  • The absence of asbestos;
  • The absence of mercury, cadmium, antimony, chromium (VI);
  • The absence of REACH substances;
  • The availability of a DECLARE label (a sort of ingredient list, which transparently indicates the chemical compounds present in a product).
