WELL

Once again, the commitment of Ceramiche Keope to the integration of environmental aspects and the safety of people is demonstrated by the WELL Building Standard V2® certification.
Launched in 2014 by the International WELL Building Institute (IWBI), the WELL Building Standard® is the first certification system that attests, through a rating, the health of a building through a holistic approach that considers the comfort, safety, and psycho-physical well-being of the occupants; WELL v2® is the most updated and rigorous version.
The protocol is divided into 10 categories called "Concepts" (Air, Water, Nourishment, Light, Movement, Thermal Comfort, Sound, Materials, Mind, Community) and defined by performance indicators (with specific, objective, and measurable thresholds) and prescriptive indicators, requiring specific technologies, design strategies, or policies to be implemented.
Keope, together with the other brands of the Concorde Group, has achieved this new and important certification that allows architects and professionals to take advantage of new qualifying markers for an increasingly conscious design.
The WELL certification awarded to Keope products, in fact, confirms compliance with some important parameters such as:
  • Zero VOC emissions (also in view of the requirements of the California Department of Public Health);
  • Non-proliferation of microbes and molds;
  • Compliance for use in underfloor heating;
  • The absence of mercury, cadmium, antimony, chromium (VI);
  • The availability of a DECLARE label (a sort of ingredient list, which transparently indicates the chemical compounds present in a product).
