THE CE MARKING

The affixing of the mark is required by law in order to be able to market ceramic tile packages in the European Economic Area countries.
The symbol CE means "Conformité Européenne" and indicates that the product carrying it complies with the essential requirements of the directives on safety, public health and consumer protection.

The presence on the packaging of the CE marking guarantees that Ceramiche Keope has complied with the following set of provisions:

The ceramic tiles contained in the packaging have the characteristics set out in Annex ZA in the harmonised standard UNI EN 14411
Ceramiche Keope has issued a Declaration of Performance (PDO) with which it assumes responsibility for what is declared by the CE marking
Ceramiche Keope is committed to:

  • Keep a constant control on the quality of factory production
  • perform accurate checks for each new production, change of raw materials or production processes
  • periodically check the testing equipment
  • record the results of quality control, keep them and provide them on request
  • identify and separate products (raw or finished materials) that do not comply with quality control
  • properly instruct the personnel used for the production and control phases
  • take responsibility for the declared characteristics, indicate the field of use of its products and provide instructions for their correct use.

The CE marking is therefore a guarantee for the user that the purchased material meets the requirements of current regulations and that these remain substantially unchanged for all production batches.
